I’m a proud 1st generation American, born to political refugees who came to America for freedom and opportunity. I was raised in a rich culture of food and language, an emphasis on creating a strong work ethic and traveling abroad.

1999

I embraced another culture when I moved to Virginia for college. I immersed myself in leadership positions within my sorority, cheered on our D1 football team and spent so many hours studying I was affectionately called “Showker Girl” (the name of the Hall of The College of Business.)

2009

I began working at KPMG just days after leaving Virginia, passed my CPA exam and was fast tracked to manager within the Investment Management Division. I managed million dollar audit budgets of top global banks and sold business in the dynamic NYC finance industry, but most of, but most of, I loved all teaching & mentoring young associates as a National Instructor.

2013

After I shifted to private equity, I couldn’t contain my cultural curiosity, so I resigned and spent 10 months traveling solo - from raising money for a start up in Australia to meditating in the temples of Thailand. Buses, trains, planes and sometimes long walks with a 40 liter bag strapped to my back, I literally circled the globe - before the days of Instagram and international SIM cards. Best travel tip I can share - learn to say thank you in the local language!

2014

Coming home from a trip around the world left me feeling the opposite of being on top of it - I was unemployed, my relationship ended and I was face to face with my limited programming, with nowhere to keep running to. I decided this was my rock bottom and took personal responsibility - I could no longer keep repeating the same patterns, expecting to feel differently. Through kismet connections, I found EFT and began to transform internally.

2018

Like most business owners, the early days were spent throwing things at the wall and seeing what would stick. I made every classic mistake - undercharging, running in the red, saying yes to every opportunity, listening to unaligned advice, ignoring my Inner Knowing, scarcity investments and playing the waiting game. I used my own tools to recover from burnout, breakthrough procrastination and self sabotage and begin to experience success.

2020

I was internally ready to lead others through the year that changed everything. I hosted free tapping circles to support people during lockdown, coached business owners through pivots and brought women from across the globe together in my group programs. My clients have collectively earned millions in new revenue while feeling better about themselves and what is possible for their life.

2022

A cross country move, heartbreak and a brain bleed taught me to surrender, bringing me back to my heart, finding my power there over and over again. It was too big to contain - I launched Open Hearted, expanded to serve leaders in corporate and entrepreneurship and began hosting the Open Hearted The Podcast. I’m so glad you found me at this moment in time.
